The American ones oversized take years to talk about (and practically none fashion victim has been able to resist its charms at some point), but this autumn-winter 2020/2021 the blazers they leave the XXL line aside to take on a form that is disproportionate in terms of size.
We sailed through the streets of the different fashion capitals to find various ways of showing off your huge blazer this season without skating along the way. We can’t promise that it’s the most flattering trend in the world, but it’s certainly one of the most stylish.
So big that it looks like a dress
Last year we announced it: the blazer dress is one of the most cool. This season we don’t see any dresses with a blazer cut, we observe blazers so big that they can serve as a dress in themselves. For the mid-season months, bet on wearing them without socks and with a pair of high-heeled boots.
With cycling tights or shorts
This is one of our favorite proposals although we accept that it is not suitable for all tastes. If you don’t dare to wear a blazer without a companion underneath, you can close the look with a pair of short cycling tights or shorts that you barely see each other. Like this, you ensure the effect dressed but you are well covered.
In a two-piece suit
Classic, formal and trendy: the two-piece suits with a masculine air have everything to succeed during the autumn season and this year the American is wearing more than ever. Forget tight sleeves or custom shouldersNow the suit stands out because of its enormous size.
Accompanying a mini dress and boots cowboy
Last winter the boots and the style boots cowboy were the kings of the street and this year promises to follow the same line.
