The off-road trend continues to win the play in the street style. We’ve already seen the cargo pants invade the streets, the camouflage print dye everything green khaki and to the sandals with soles trekking to tread with power. Now it’s the turn of the utility vests, full of pockets and technical fabrics that will modernize everything to the extreme.
The vests are a trend this 2020 in all its versions. From the most preppy that we saw at the beginning of the year until the sartorial proposals that Saint Laurent put forward on the catwalk last February. It was only a matter of time before they would also launch their version athleisure and this utilitarian design is the result.
These vests with airs of fisherman have surprised us pleasantly, because they give a twist to any style. A pair of jeans and a white T-shirt are a staple, but if you add this utilitarian garment to the equation you will be the most modern. The same goes for wearing it over blazers or jackets in the same color, creating a look in layers very athleisure.
These photos of street style has convinced us that we need a utility vest in our closet. That’s why we’ve been out looking for them and we’ve come across these seven models full of pockets for all kinds of tastes: long and short, in neutral or neon tones and made of materials as varied as denim and the nylon.
